Our apartments Florel and Heian in Hochfilzen are centrally located between Leogang and Fieberbrunn in the heart of the Pillersee Valley. The location makes them an ideal starting point for a summer and winter vacation in the mountains – well-connected, close to nature, and also perfect for a car-free holiday.

Summer: Hiking, Biking & Lakes

In summer, the region offers numerous opportunities for hiking and biking. Hochfilzen is particularly popular for biking in all variations:

Downhill & Enduro in the nearby Bikepark Leogang
Gravel biking tours on well-developed forest and gravel roads, mostly away from public roads
Road biking on very good, lightly trafficked roads towards Tyrol and Salzburg

For cooling off, there are many mountain and swimming lakes, including the Pillersee, Lauchsee, and other lakes in the Pillersee Valley.

Winter: Skiing, Touring & Cross-Country Skiing

In winter, you can reach the ski areas of Leogang and Fieberbrunn in about 5-10 minutes. Other well-known ski areas such as Zell am See, Maria Alm, St. Johann in Tyrol, the Waidringer Steinplatte, KitzSki, and the Almwelt Lofer are located within approximately 30 km.

The Buchensteinwand, the local mountain of Hochfilzen, is small, fine, and ideal for skiing, tobogganing, snowshoe hiking, and first ski touring experiences. In the Pillersee Valley region, there are also numerous ski touring and snowshoe routes for all levels of proficiency.
Hochfilzen is also particularly popular for cross-country skiing.

Florel & Heian

The Florel apartment offers 60 m² of ample space for couples or guests who wish to live generously.
The Heian apartment impresses with 88 m², two bedrooms, and is ideal for families or four people, and can accommodate up to six guests if needed.

The Apartment Heian in Hochfilzen offers the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday with family or friends. Located between Leogang and Fieberbrunn, well embedded in the Pillersee Valley, it is an ideal starting point for active days in the mountains—at any time of year.

With 88 m² of living space and two separate bedrooms, the apartment is particularly suitable for families. The generous room layout provides ample space for communal living as well as retreat. If needed, up to six people can comfortably be accommodated. The extra beds or the sofa bed are equipped with a box spring function, ensuring high sleeping comfort.
